The process knowledge is used to create P&I Diagrams, followed by Process Descriptions.
The more general Process Descriptions are used as basis for the Functional Descriptions and Programming Desciptions.
The Functional Descriptions are developed as a combined effort between the Dairy Technologist and Automation programmer.
The Programming Descriptions which is used a programming guide is developed by the Automation programmer.
The Programming Descriptions has a detailed level.

DairySoft has a preference of using Wonderware InTouch as the SCADA system. InTouch is well supported and well proved software.
DairySoft has own library of symbols and faceplates. These a reused from project to project and is developed using years of experience on developing Operator Interfaces.
On small to medium size project InTouch is used with Wonderware DA Direct Server as communication system.
On larger project or where the customer prefers Wonderware Application Server this is used as communication Server.
